Electronic Arts announces a surprising partnership for FIFA 23… With Marvel in FIFA Ultimate Team!

Next month, like every year in September, it will be the release of the new opus of FIFA. This will be the last game stamped by Electronic Arts before the end of the collaboration between FIFA and EA Sports. For the occasion, the American publisher intends to put the small dishes in the big ones by offering one of the biggest editions of its football game.
And precisely, what could be better than in partnership with Marvel?

It’s official, Marvel and Electronic Arts have announced a collaboration for FIFA 23 and more specifically the game mode FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team). As soon as the game is released on September 30, it will be possible to discover Marvel FUT Heroes cards. “This collaboration between two of entertainment’s biggest franchises will bring some of the fan-favorite players into the game and celebrate their heroic cult status alongside talented Marvel artists. To celebrate their momentous careers for their club and country, each FIFA World Cup FUT Hero will receive a rating boost at the launch of the World Cup mode, with base versions of Heroes available upon release.
No Iron Man or Hulk on the field, however, some players will be entitled to their cards specially designed by Marvel artists. A two-step partnership allowing you to have jerseys, balls, stadiums with tifos, and even Marvel Hero comics. And of course, football legends will be dressed in superhero mode on the cards.
The first players who will have the right to this collaboration are the following:
- Claudio Marchisio
- Ricardo Carvalho
- Yaya Toure
- Landon Donovan
- Park Ji-Sung
FIFA 23 is expected on September 30, 2022, on PC, PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. This year, there should be no essential release on Switch. The game will feature many game modes, including the men’s and women’s World Cups.
